Trading places

January 6, 2009

Adam Smith, the father of economics, said “The propensity to truck, barter and exchange one thing for another is common to all men, and to be found in no other race of animals.”

This blog hopes to tease out the human angle of trucking, bartering and exchanging. I intend to do this using quirky graphs – of economic data on Nigeria, comments on books (beginning with Adam Smith’s “The Wealth of Nations”), links to interesting articles, research and what not. Stay tuned for an odd approach to economics, I think.
